We re-modeled our user-friendly Champion Coop with design features specific to the needs of ducks and the people who care for them.

Easy to Use Walk-In Duck Coop and Run
Both the coop and run have walk-in human doors!  The pop door between the coop and run has a generous 14.5"W x 18.5"H opening, with a wide ramp designed specifically for your web-footed friends! 
A litter board at the bottom of the coop entry door keeps litter from spilling out when you open the door, and is removable for better access when cleaning the coop.
FOUR 12" diameter round windows plus two louvre vents provide ample ventilation options in the enclosed coop area. 
The window openings are covered with 1/2" hardware cloth and include removable plexiglas inserts.

Roofing Color

We use durable metal roofing on all our coops.  The standard color option is silver (galvalume), but you can choose the green (painted) roofing color (shown most clearly on our Medium Champion Coop page) for $80 more.  Other roofing colors can also be made available upon request and with an additional lead time on your order.

Roof Insulation

Add a layer of 1" rigid foam insulation between the pine coop interior ceiling and the exterior metal roofing. This not only gives your flock a measure of protection from extreme cold, but the foil facing on the insulation reflects heat and modulates temperatures in the summer as well.

 Heavy Duty 40 mil Vinyl Floor Liner, $95

We searched high and low for the perfect coop floor liner material, and this is it.  The 40 mil thickness is four times the thickness of vinyl found on linoleum/vinyl flooring, and unlike kitchen/bath flooring, this material STAYS FLEXIBLE and does not crack or get brittle, even in extreme cold weather!

Perimeter Security Kit

To take full advantage of the flexibility of our coop designs and allow your animals access to the run area 24/7, the outside perimeter of your coop should be protected from digging predator activity.  This ready-to-install kit includes 24” wide lengths of vinyl coated 1/2” x 1/2” hardware cloth with strips of cedar for securing to the bottom perimeter of the run.  Stainless steel screws and installation instructions are also provided. 

Duck Coop Delivery Information

Our delivery rate is $2.75/mi from Thorndike, Maine with a minimum charge of $150.  We can offer a discounted delivery rate to customers who are flexible on their delivery date-- please contact us with your location to see what we can currently offer.

The delivery rate includes unloading AND placement as long as the site and the approach to the site is accessible for us to place the coop for you.  A fairly reliable test we use to assess accessibility is, Can you easily drive a low-clearance, 2WD car onto the spot where the coop will sit?  This approximates both the height and width clearances as well as the ground surface required for placement.  If you're not sure, please reach out and we can help you assess.

If we cannot access the site for placement, the delivery rate includes unloading only (at the closest point to the site that we can access) and additional charges will apply for placement, if possible.
Purchases can also be picked up direct from our shop in Thorndike by appointment.
